K.Co. Connections LLC was founded to build a Church that not only loves the Lord with all their strength, but respects and honors each other. We are in the business of outreach, and offer mentorship, discipleship, and relationship to our online community. May we be the salt and light to a modern generation of believers. Send us a message. We would love to hear from you!
the body
Our mission is to increase fellowship and compassion within the Church by celebrating God’s Kingdom here on Earth. We are an outreach ministry and disciples of Christ. We offer a mentoring perspective to our online community in order to build resilience through mental wellness, foster the development of spiritual practices, and encourage the discovery of local missions.
Our website has been developed to share and explore the many ways we can become a stronger more unified community of believers. Spiritual practices and daily disciplines along with prayer and worship have been documented foundational to the recovery and wholeness of individuals who deal with anxiety, depression, loneliness, fear, and other emotional distress. While only God can heal, we want to offer a means toward mental resilience by embracing faith and being obedient to the Word of God.
Our hope is to fuel your passion for life. We endeavor to reduce the stigma around mental illness and advocate suicide prevention by raising public awareness of early detection and treatment for mood disorders. Experience has proven to us there is a tremendous need for identification and compassion towards those who are challenged to compete with mental illness in an unsympathetic society.
Our blog will cover aspects that influence the mind, the spirit, the heart, and the body of Christ as we walk alongside each other. We give all the glory to our God, who inspires us moment to moment and throughout the day. May we continue to search and seek new ways to connect with each other and with Jesus. And, may we offer service to others in keeping with the grace and truth Christ so perfectly modeled.
#wellness Collaboration
be purposeful. | THE mind
It takes more than good intentions to incorporate a wellness regimen into your daily life. It starts with a mental road map. A cognitive decision that turns into action. Physical wellness is often the focus, but mental wellness affects every aspect of your life also. The Mind segment will share lessons learned and strategies to incorporate your mental health with your faith journey for a stronger spirit.
#Spiritual cornerstones
be patient. | the spirit
Embracing a relationship with Jesus and, thereby, an indwelling of the Holy Spirit is a commencement. It is not a single decision, but a faith walk with unexpected detours. These interruptions in your life will test you, prune you, and transform you as you abide in Christ. The goal is to grow more obedient to the promptings of The Spirit as you face new directions often unknown and unclear.
#local compassion
be present. | the heart
Divine appointments are all around us. We simply need to answer the call with a compassionate and willing heart. It starts with living in the moment and paying attention to those around you. Regardless of their nature Jesus always put people first and served from The Heart. Finding your sphere of influence or joining a cause will help develop your gifts and talents as you volunteer your time instead of your treasure.
TOPIC OF DISCUSSION
Finding balance
Tell us your strategies for achieving a balance in your daily life with God, family, work, hobbies, and last but not least rest. Where do you need help? What is the biggest challenge you have with actively achieving your goals and staying afloat? Or, are you just plain overwhelmed and don’t know where to start? Let us know.
TOPIC OF DISCUSSION
finding time
How is it we find time for social media posts and Netflix, but we cannot find a quiet moment to read Scripture or volunteer for a cause that moves us? What are your priorities? How do you develop a servant’s heart? Where do you need to let go and allow for God’s intervention? Our time on Earth is so precious. How do you spend it?
TOPIC OF DISCUSSION
Finding direction
It would be helpful if there were a spiritual GPS that told us we were on the right path. The Bible is the Word of God, but many times we are uncertain how it looks to live out His ordinances in our modern world. Navigating life as a Christian is full of twists and turns, hills and valleys. How do you discern God’s will from your own?
TOPIC OF DISCUSSION
defining wellness
The word “wellness” is way overused in our society, but what does it look like to live well? How do you measure your emotional health? If we have a physical sickness, we generally go to a doctor. If we have a spiritual crisis, we talk to our pastor. Why is our mental wellness so hard to define? What determines your level of “wellness”?
TOPIC OF DISCUSSION
defining faith
The common denominator in our history with the one true God is faith. Hebrews 11:1 defines it for us, but what does it look like to live as a faithful disciple of Christ? If we cannot see it, how do we know we are doing it right? Is there a right way? What if you lose it? How do you get it back? What does it mean to practice Christianity with faith?
TOPIC OF DISCUSSION
defining kindness
Are you a kind person? Would the condition of your heart reveal a selfless and caring individual? How do you serve others? Or, do you? Is it possible to be generous and not kind? Compassion is an integral component of kindness, but empathy is not always easy. We have to stretch our capacity to love. Where do we start? How do we soften our hearts?
